Finalmente sul Campionato Europeo Ufo 22 soffia il vento. Sul lago Tegern, ultima giornata impegnativa per i diciannove competitors che hanno dovuto sostenere quattro prove portando così a cinque il totale delle manche valide per assegnare il titolo continentale. E se questa mattina tutto era ancora in forse, oggi i giochi si sono fatti più chiari. Un Campionato combattuto sino alla fine, con sportellate e tanta competitività. Un Campionato che regala il titolo di Campione Europeo a Mojito lo scafo del lago d’Iseo (Circolo Vela Sarnico) di Pierluigi Passeri che lo “presta” al figlio Nicolò, a Davide Bianchini affidandogli il timone e a Cesare Togni. Una corsa perfetta, la loro, verso la vittoria con secondi posti come risultato peggiore. A tre lunghezze chiude il presidente di Classe Giorgio Zorzi su Blue Moon, lo scafo che ha totalizzato più bullet in questo campionato e che ha vinto nel 2013 il titolo italiano, la Terra e Mare Cup e il Trofeo Gorla. Chiude il podio Incubo con Enrico Zennaro alla barra, il patron del cantiere Terra e Mare Roberto Benedetti tailer e Branco Brcin tattico a prua. Zennaro, detentore del titolo, si è presentato in Germania con un altro equipaggio, con altre vele e con altre ambizioni, ma terminati i tre giorni traccia un bilancio positivo: “E’ la prima volta che lascio una regata con animo sereno pur non vincendo. Le condizioni del vento qui assomigliano a quelle di una lotteria però non abbiamo nulla da rimproverarci. Chi ha vinto è stato senza dubbio più bravo però anche noi ce la siamo giocata fino alla fine e tutto ciò che abbiamo fatto in acqua è stato perfetto ma i margini di errore qui dipendono molto dall’aria”. Quattro prove oggi dove il vento è soffiato da varie direzioni, con un’intensità che è andata crescendo. Richiami generali, OCS sparsi, cambi di percorso e partenze vincenti prima sul pin e poi in barca comitato hanno caratterizzato la chiusura di questo campionato che ha regalato grandi emozioni. Con una flotta molto agguerrita e divertimento a terra va in archivio anche la stagione 2013 e già molte novità per l’anno prossimo bollono in pentola.

On the Tegernsee lake , busy day for the nineteen competitors who have run four courses bringing to five the total number of races valid to assign the continental title . And if yesterday everything was still in doubt , today's games becomes clear . A Championship fought to the end, with lot of competition, that gives the title of European Champion to Mojito from Lake Iseo ( Circolo Vela Sarnico) owned by Pierluigi Passeri that " lends " the boat to his son Nicolò , Davide Bianchini as helmsman and Cesare Togni .
A perfect race , for Moijto with second place as a worse result . With three points distance is Blue Moon helmed by the Class President Giorgio Zorzi, the hull which totalized more" bullets" in this championship and has won the Italian title in 2013 , the Terra e Mare Cup and the Trofeo Gorla . Closes the podium Incubo with Enrico Zennaro on the helm , the owner of the shipyard Terra e Mare Roberto Benedetti as tailer and Branco Brcin as tactic. Zennaro , defending his 2012 champion title , was present in Germany with another crew , with other sails and other ambitions , but he finished the three-day races with a positive balance : " It's the first time I leave a regatta with equanimity despite not winning . The wind conditions here resemble those of a “lottery” but we have nothing to reproach ourselves . Who won was undoubtedly the most good but we also fought to the end and everything we have done in the water was perfect but the margin of error here are very dependent from the wind " . Four courses today where the wind is blowing from different directions , with an intensity that has been growing , with general recalls , OCS , course changes and departures before on the pin and then on the committee boat at the end of a season that has given great emotions.
